Thai Marbled Momi is Mulberry paper is made from the bark of the mulberry tree, whose leaves are used to feed silkworms.  Mulberry papers are crushed and wrinkled to give them the feel of fabric. The crinkled (or momi) paper is then tie-dyed by hand and marbled with metallic colors.
